For the families who live here.
Most of my work is with families visiting Oʻahu. This page is for the other half — local ʻohana carrying a lot with not much underneath them, and the organizations that serve them.
Hire me directly
One-to-one behavioral respite, paid out of pocket. For the gap while you’re sitting on a waitlist. For the evening you need to be at your other kid’s thing. For the week that has been too much.
Toddlers through adults — autism and I/DD
At home, at a park, or out on an outing
Regulation and safety support, built from a short intake and a call with you first
One-off, occasional, or recurring — whatever you actually need
per hour · 2-hour minimum
Founding Families — 15% off your first booking while the first spots last. You’d be helping shape how this works locally.
If the rate is the barrier, that’s what the Kōkua Hour below is for — ask the organization you work with.
The Kōkua Hour
I’m starting this small and on purpose. I have a block of hours I’m donating this quarter, and I’d like one organization to decide who receives them. One family, one time, and we both find out how it works.
I issue your organization a gift certificate for a set number of hours.
You award it to a family, using whatever process you already have.
They reach out to schedule. I handle the intake, the planning, and the support itself.
No cost, no commitment, no exclusivity, and nothing required from you in return. Priority goes to Native Hawaiian-led and Native Hawaiian-serving organizations.
I don’t pick the recipient families myself, and I’d rather not. You already know who is carrying the most with the least — and you have the intake and privacy practices that I don’t.
And if a partnership is a bigger step than makes sense right now, I’d be glad to simply volunteer at one of your events. I’d rather be useful to you first.
What this is, and what it isn’t
Companion-based behavioral respite and safety shadowing. Not clinical therapy, not ABA sessions, not nursing or medication administration. The RBT credential is a trust signal about my training — not a description of what you’re buying.
No toileting, diapering, wound care, or clinical feeding. A caregiver stays reachable for hand-offs. That’s a safety and insurance line, not a judgment.
No client transport. Warm hand-off only.
A signed liability waiver is required for every client — including families receiving donated Kōkua Hour time.
Committed to the kuleana of supporting our local ʻohana.
Neurodivergent-led. Family-centered. Actually restful.
